Barbara Kletnieks
landscape architect + urban designer
Barbara has over three years experience as a landscape architect having worked on a range of projects which include urban, regional and residential landscapes, masterplanning and community consultation. Since joining UDLA Barbara has undertaken concept design and design development as part of the masterplan process for Broome North Town development.
Barbara’s background in visual arts has contributed to her landscape design sensibilities and design development. Barbara approaches landscape design with attention to site conditions, consideration to those who will use the landscape and a balanced application of sustainable design.
Previous project experience: AHL Secondary School Students Hostel Landscape in Kununurra; implementing indigenous planting and landscape sensitive design; masterplanning for East Perth Power Station; and the Thornlie Civic Precinct Revitalisation project.
