Amy Stewart
Designer
Amy’s intentions as a designer have focused on developing project outcomes that ground landscapes within the broader environmental systems that influence and form them. By doing so, she aims to create ecologically sensitive spaces that strengthen a community’s sense of belonging within them.
Her interest in environmental systems led her to pursue a Bachelor of Conservation Biology in 2017 which deepened her understanding of the uniqueness and vulnerability of Western Australian landscapes as both natural and cultural environments. Completed in 2022, Amy’s Dissertation by Design focused on balancing ecological sensitivity and public safety in the bushfire-prone landscapes of Perth, WA.
