Rewilding Fremantle: A conversation for FDW

A visual, biodiversity-first provocation that rethinks what moving the Fremantle Port could mean for the broader ecosystem its current site sits within

Speakers L-R Mandy Bamford, Sarah Hill, Rosie Halsmith, Dan Firns

We’re still buzzing from the collective energy of those who joined our Rewilding Fremantle conversation during Fremantle Design Week. A huge thank you to speakers Rosie Halsmith, Sarah Hill, Mandy Bamford, and Daniel Firns, who shared their insights and expertise on “more-than-human” design approaches to rebuild natural systems and boost biodiversity in a range of ways. Big thanks too to everyone who joined on the evening, or who viewed the related exhibition at Walyalup Koort. We’re looking forward to continuing the conversation.

The Rewilding Fremantle Conversation and related Rewilding Fremantle Exhibition were a collaboration between UDLA, UWA School of Design and the City of Fremantle, for Fremantle Design Week. Congratulations to all involved!
