UDLA Director Scott Lang recognised with an AILA Fellowship

We’re thrilled to share that Scott Lang’s distinguished service to landscape architecture has been recognised with an Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) Fellowship.

Scott has served AILA through his role on the WA Chapter Registration Committee over several years. Alongside this formal role, he’s also highly regarded in the industry as a considerate and knowledgeable mentor, regularly giving his time and expertise to students, staff and other Landscape Architects.

“Scott is a massive people nurturer and I believe that is why he is so excellent at supporting young and upcoming professionals” — Greg Grabasch

Scott’s strengths include his ability to communicate and collaborate with other disciplines, stakeholders and the wider community. Combined, these strengths not only raise the profile of landscape architecture, but increase awareness and understanding of the importance of landscape-led approaches — something that’s intrinsically related to how UDLA operates.
