Taryn Milroy joins the 2021 AILA National Awards Jury
Taryn Milroy, Landscape Architect at UDLA, has been selected to join the 2021 Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) National Landscape Architecture Awards jury alongside jury chair, Peta-Maree Ashford, and jury members, Barrie Barton, Dennis Eiszele, Tessa Leggo, Jen Lynch and Mark Saint Põl-blk-wht.
Taryn is a proud Yindjibarndi person who currently lives and works on Whadjuk country in Walyalup (Fremantle). He loves to camp and surf, while frequently travelling north to spend time with family in the Pilbara town of Roebourne. Taryn studied at the University of Western Australia, completing a double major in Landscape Architecture and Indigenous Knowledge, History and Heritage. In 2019, he joined our team at UDLA —where through design processes he constantly seeks to embed a deeper understanding and appreciation of cultural and environmental aspects.
The AILA Landscape Architecture Awards program has two stages: the first is a Chapter program and the second is the National program. In 2021, QLD, WA, SA, NSW, VIC & TAS will be presenting an Awards program, with the winners at Chapter level proceeding to the National Awards, to be announced on 14 October 2021.
Congratulations, Taryn. A very worthy addition to the national team.
